How Is The Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin Urkunde Muster Looks Like?

The Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Alice Salomon Fachhochschule Berlin), founded by Alice Salomon, has stood for a full century. In this century of trials and tribulations, there has been the hardship of starting a business, the suffering of two wars, the brutality of the Nazi era, and the difficulties of post-war reconstruction. These hardships have not caused the university to deviate from its founder’s educational principles and philosophy. From the day she founded her school, Alice Solomon combined education with the achievements of the women’s rights movement: enabling young women to “apply the rights and obligations that the women’s rights movement had won for them” (Solomon 1908, p. 42). The success of this private school shook the nation, and its educational philosophy was adopted by many similar institutions. The school’s success made it possible for the college to establish its own campus, which was eventually completed before World War I.

In 1909, Alice Solomon became the Secretary-General of the International Women’s League. In 1914, she converted from Judaism to Christianity. In 1917, she became the president of the “German Association of Social Schools for Girls,” which she founded. By 1919, the association already had 16 member schools. In 1920, fearing that anti-Semitic forces in Germany would jeopardize the German Women’s Association, Alice Solomon voluntarily resigned as vice-president of the association. This was a serious blow, but this female fighter was not defeated. Five years later, she established the “German Academy for Social Work and Education for Women.” In December 1926, under the direction of Alice Solomon, the Institute of Social Sciences under the College was expanded.
